Enforced inspection controls during the summer days
Skopje, 24 July – The supply with medicines of the pharmacies is very well. All 3.150 medicines that are registered in the country could be found in the pharmacies and so far it is not been noticed a lack of some medicine, announced at today’s press conference the Director of the bureau for medicines, Ilco Zahariev.
He said that in July are taken 45 samples of the same amount of medicines from the pharmacies under a free selection submitted to the quality control in the Republic Institution for health care and the Center for medicine control at the Facilty of Pfarmacology.
- All results has showed that our medicines satisfy the quality and the standards and we had no different quality results of the medicines, stated Zahariev and added that as of January they’ve performed control of over 250 medicines.
During July and until yesterday, as Zaharied informed the public, 249 pharmacies has been inspected and at the moment the inspectors are under assignment in the Struga and the Ohrid region. He announced that during the following period a control will be performed over the pharmacies in Dojran, Prespa, Berovo, Mavrovo…...
Bozin Petreski, a Head of the Department in the Food Directorate, said that in the first half of the year 6.500 regular controls had been preformed and around 680 irregular in the passed two months.
During June and July had been performed controls in Ohrid, Struga and Prilep at the “Pivo Fest” and yesterday in Resen and Prespa. Next controls will take place in Dojran and Krushevo and in August again will be inspected the touristy capacities in Ohrid.
In relation to the inspection controls from the State sanitary and health care inspectorate, Vera menkovska had informed that during the inspection 290 educational institutions had sanitary and technical shortages especially in the toaletes, wardrobes and the gyms.
It’s been performed surveillance over 90 touristy capacities out of which Livadishte in Struga and Partizan in Dojran were closed. Menkovska stated that the problem in Livadishte was the cleaning water station of the disposing water and immediately after this problem was soleved, the camp was reopened.
The water in the Skopje pools is safe for bathing, stated Menkovska. Due to insecure water this week are closed the pools in the hotels “Metropol Palace” and “Bellevue” in Ohrid while in Skopje the insecure place for bathing is the Lake Treska. The waters in Dojran, Prespa and Ohrid are in the first and second category and are safe for bathing.
